X1 Carer/Personal Assistant required, Retford of Nottinghamshire NOTLB2011 –16hr ( 4 x 4hr shifts)
I am a lady in my early twenties with a cheeky sense of humour.
I have Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Scoliosis. I’m a manual wheelchair user. I live at home with my mum and pets, I’m looking to recruit multiple female Personal Assistant’s to join my existing support group to enable me to engage with activities I enjoy, such as shopping, baking, crafting, going for walks, bowling and the cinema. During the support days I also need support with Personal Care, transferring using my hoist and household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, cooking and attending hospital appointments.
If you’ve an outgoing personality with a patient and calming manner, have a Person Centred Approach to supporting people and promoting their independence? Are fit, healthy and able to push my wheelchair when we are out within the community? I would love to receive your CV.
Experience/knowledge of Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Scoliosis, is an advantage, but full on-the-job training will be given during the induction process.
Flexibility is required as alternate weekend work is required, as well as during holidays and sick leave.
Additional tasks maybe required on occasions.
Permanent Contracted Hours
9.30am-1.30pm shift or the 5.30pm-9.30pm shift, and be able to work every other weekend
Support Day’s may change to support with Hospital Appointment
As personal care is involved female applicants only who must be 18+ and unfortunately we are unable to offer sponserships.
Benefits
Salary: £12.00 per hour
5.6 weeks pro rata holiday allowance
