Autism friendly, pet friendly personal assistant required in the, NG8 area of Nottingham.

Client is a 28 year old self-employed physically disabled and autistic man looking for PA support, a range of assistance from cooking and cleaning to taking to appointments, shopping and making phone calls. Ability to work weekends is desirable, as is a driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Client has four dogs including an assistance dog, and two guinea pigs, so pet friendly is also important for this client.

Applicants must hold supportive and aware attitudes to all LGBT+ identities, larger sized people and complex and variable physical and cognitive disabilities.

The hourly rate, set by Nottingham City Council, is £11.44. 

Hours to be negotiated, but this will be a roughly equal job-share of 19 hours per week, to be worked out with client and the existing PA. Ability to cover extra hours for other PA leave is desirable. 

This is a permanent vacancy and we are seeking an individual who is looking to support our client and provide excellent support.
