Rosekel support people to live independent and rewarding lives by co-ordinating and delivering care provision in home settings.

Support through Rosekel means you receive a service that is personal, friendly and
understanding of your circumstances. You deal with a dedicated contact and build
relationships with individuals who will go out of their way to support you

Rosekel operates a complete range of services, including those regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), to ensure the care you receive is tailored to your specific needs. When using Rosekel you can choose two different ways for your personalised care to be delivered:

  1. Rosekel can support you to be the employer of your own Personal Assistants - often called Direct Payment Support for a Personal Budget or Personal Health Budget
  2. Rosekel can be the employer of your Personal Assistants - often called a Third Party Agreement

When Rosekel support you to employ your own Personal Assistants we will:

  • Find and recruit your carers
  • Help you become a good employer
  • Run payroll and handle your HMRC and Pension payments
  • Manage your funding and care budget

When Rosekel is the legal employer of your Personal Assistants we will:

  • Work with you to recruit a dedicated care and support team
  • Handle all the HR and management of the staff we employ to support you
  • Manage all staff training
  • Complete performance reviews and appraisals
  • Carry out risk assessments and help implement required mitigations
  • Provide safeguarding support
  • Manage your funding and care budget

How your care is delivered...

Care supported by Rosekel is delivered by Personal Assistants, who are recruited and trained to meet your specific needs. This approach gives you complete control to find the perfect care set-up that works for your specific needs. By choosing your own Personal Assistants, you build a trusting relationship with individuals that can provide intimate care, delivered in your own home. This enables you to maximise the level of independence you desire whilst remaining safely cared for in the comfort of your own home surroundings.

How we give you confidence...

The thought of employing carers to support you or your loved ones can be daunting. Taking the time to talk through those concerns with the team at Rosekel can be all it takes to give you the confidence to take the next step. Rosekel can show you how we can solve your concerns by managing your payroll responsibilities and providing ongoing employment support to help you handle any issues or concerns that may arise.

If you do not want to take on the responsibility of employing your own Personal Assistants, Rosekel can take on the responsibility. This is called a Third Party Arrangement, the service is often mandated by your Health Authority, especially when care may be delivered by family members. Using this approach, you are still able to have choice and control regarding how your support and care is delivered.

How care is paid for...

Funding your care can come from a number of sources. It may be from Social Care, Health or you may be a self-funder. Either way Rosekel are able to help you get the best care possible by helping you to effectively manage your care budget. Rosekel will open a dedicated bank account on your behalf which will be used to manage all the costs relating to the provision of your care. This can include paying your Personal Assistants or care providers in addition to any other related care costs. Rosekel will manage the funds provided by local authorities and any personal contributions you make towards the cost of your care

How we support you...

Support through Rosekel means that you receive a service that is personal, friendly and understanding of your circumstances. You deal with a dedicated contact and build relationships with individuals who will go out of their way to support you.

Rosekel is a local, family-friendly organisation, that has been delivering support to both Adults and Children for over 10 years.

Rosekel deliver a face-to-face service, meeting you either in your home, their office premises or a venue of your choice. Rosekel are happy to meet you and share how they can support you, and your support network, with no obligations to take their services.

When you choose Rosekel they will:

  • Allocate you a dedicated contact who will handle all of your direct payment support needs
  • Manage your care budget via a new dedicated bank account
  • Help you quickly find the right personal assistants to provide the care and support you need
  • Provide you with support and guidance about how to be an employer
  • Handle the production of all invoices, payslips, HMRC returns and pension matters relating to your care

Rosekel will support you with all aspects of your Personal Health Budget/Direct Payment and tailor their support to meet your needs.
