Carer Personal Assistant Direct Payment, Bestwood Park of Nottingham, NOTMD2102

This position is supporting a male child in the Bestwood Park area of Nottingham.

The role consists of supporting a male with Autism in his family home. He has a vacancy for a Personal Assistant to work 10 hours per week. Duties will include but aren’t limited to: supporting with social/outdoor activities, personal care/hygiene routine and to support him in his varied day to day lifestyle and promote independence. Supporting at home whilst parent has emergencies elsewhere.

The ideal candidate will be positive, caring and have experience in dealing with seizures and Autism. Must be able to handle the physical skills of lifting, handling, pushing and bending. Experience of care work would be beneficial but full training will be given. You will need to be a confident, competent manual vehicle driver in order to drive an adapted vehicle on a daily basis.

Applicant must be punctual due to flexible working hours. This is a permanent contract.

Working Hours – 10 hours per week

Benefits 
Salary: £10.11 per hour

5.6 weeks pro rata holiday allowance
