House Keeper/Personal Assistant in Darley Abbey area of Derby DERMK2504

A permanent position to run the home and manage personal needs for a woman with a disability

12 hours per week, paying an hours rate of £14.00 per hour

9am to 12noon 4 days per week (the days are flexible across Monday to Saturday)

It is essential you can work on your own initiative to ensure the client’s activities and the house run smoothly. The specific tasks include some personal care, shopping, cooking, cleaning, de-cluttering, management of post, diary and paperwork, light gardening, short walks and outings.

The applicant must be able to demonstrate 3 to 5 years’ experience within one of the following roles, Carer or Housekeeper or strong transferable skills. They must also be able to motivate and encourage the client, manage and minimise clutter, maintain tidiness, be a capable cook, good at time management and maintain confidentiality. Self-confidence and the knowledge and skills to run a clean and tidy home efficiently are essential whilst keeping a balance of all tasks.
