Carer Personal Assistant Direct Payment, Carrington of Nottingham ng5,

This position is supporting a female in the Carrington area of Nottingham, who lives with cerebral palsy, EDS and other conditions.

Support will consist of help around the house, personal care, and social hours which may include assistance with creative activities. Sometimes this may also include shopping and picking up prescriptions, and support with attending appointments.  Some assistance with mobility is required such as supporting when walking on occasions or if in bed.

It is essential that you speak good English, are a good listener, understand that not all disabilities are visible, and you must not be allergic to cats. We would love someone organised, kind and reliable for this role, preferably with a good sense of humour. Experience is not essential as full training will be given.

Additional tasks may be required on occasions.

There may be opportunities for extra hours, and job share could be considered.

Working Hours

10 hours per week

Monday – Friday, 3-5pm.

Occasional extra weekend hours also available, Saturday or Sunday.

Salary:

£10.76 per hour

5.6 weeks pro rata holiday allowance
