Carer Personal Assistant, Broxtowe of Nottingham NG8, NOTDS0211

This position is supporting a female in the Broxtowe area of Nottingham.

The role consists of supporting a female with learn disabilities living in her own home. She has a vacancy for a Personal Assistant to work 30 hours a week.

The duties will include but not limited to needs accompanying to town centre to support with the client’s chosen task, accompanying to swimming and other exercise classes, possibly attending medical appointments. Client does get support from her mum who will advise if any other support is needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience with mental health/learning disabilities and have an understanding, caring, positive and calm manner. Must be able to use own initiative and learn routines quickly. Experience of care work would be beneficial but full training will be given.

Working Hours – 30 hours per week Monday, Wednesday, Friday  – times of work can be discussed at interview.

Benefits 
Salary: £10.76 per hour

5.6 weeks pro rata holiday allowance
