Housekeeper/Personal Assistant in Darley Abbey area of Derby

A permanent position to run the home and manage personal needs for a woman with a disability.

16 to 18 hours a week, for the right person the rate of pay will be up to £12.50 per hour self-employed.

Employed it will start at £8.57 and rise up to £11.15 per hour.

Monday to Saturday, 9am to 12noon (flexible)

It is essential you can work on your own initiative to ensure the client’s activities and the house run smoothly. The specific tasks include some personal care, shopping, cooking, cleaning, de-cluttering, management of post, diary and paperwork, light gardening, short walks and outings.

The applicant must be able to demonstrate 3 to 5 years’ experience within one of the following roles, Carer or Housekeeper. They must also be able to motivate and encourage the client, manage and minimise clutter, maintain tidiness, be a capable cook, good at time management and maintain confidentiality. Self-confidence and the knowledge and skills to run a clean and tidy home efficiently are essential whilst keeping a balance if all tasks.
